Hello

The car locks and unlocks ok with the key, or if i hit the drivers side door lock on the inside.

However, if i try to lock it from the switch on the dash, or remote, or passenger side door, the locks 'dance' lock - unlock - then the car beeps at me a few times.

Driving me bananas!

Any ideas what is wrong?

I have found that the drivers door actuator is cactus.

I called ford for a replacement and they said that they do not make the EF ones anymore but only the ELs.

Is there a way that i can tell if they have been replaced?

Mine is a late model EF with 4 wires coming out of it?
