Problem is i've got an 81 litre LPG tank there and the sub is about 1" too deep. The sub in question is a polycone Response thing from jaycar. Has anyone mounted it and modified the parcel shelf so it fits however I dont want the sub to be seen from outside the car, I'd rather a bulge there and no evidence of a speaker. how did you go with your sub? I am looking at the same thing at the moment and also need some pointers. Cheers TW.

dont bother with the stop pioneer 8" sub.
it blows up too easily when you run a powerful amp. And the ford spacer for to the sub, is somewhere in the $200 mark (1 yr ago, that was for employees only price, not retail). should go and get yourself a proper sub.
