I'd like to put an electric aerial in the EF.
My question is, can I use an aftermarket universal one and or do I need to get a model specific Ford one. It will be controlled from the head unit (Clarion if that makes any difference). The last time I put an electric aerial in a car was in a HQ Premier and that was just a case of running the control wires to the head unit and power from the ACC circuit. I'm hoping that is also the case here but as I'm not 100% sure so I thought better to ask, Thanks

you can buy a non genuine "Ford type" aerial from just about any Auto Shop. In saying "Ford type" the top of the aerial suits the E series guard.
