Aaron, I've always ogled at how professional these look and wanted to make a pair long before I had seen someone do them in a Falcon.
I suppose it's too much time and effort fibreglassing them up? Have you heard of gelcoat? You can make a mould and then lay the fibreglass inside it.. Once it dries you pull it out and it's basically all smooth and colour matched. I think that's how it works? Anyway I'd be interested but as always, pending on price. Cheers |

Hey, i'd be interested for sure if you can find someone to hack that price down a touch...as other people have said, i've also been eyeing those things up for a while - very tidy.

Yeah well i'm still looking.
You can do it out of fibreglass but that is no good in this application as you need to bend them a little to get them in (as you do with the standard ones( and fibreglass will not allow the movemment required. I will not do it unless i can get cost to $150 inc postage Australia wide...

Ok thanks everyone for letting me know.
The problem is $211 is my buy price if I sell all 40 pairs. That might be an uphill battle and i fell i end up with 20spare pairs and a few $'000 out of pocket. My mark is clear, i will get 40pairs made up for for $150inc post then it's a goer.

I'm interested in both A pillar and door pods... Just a quick question on the possible difference of tweeter size vs brand. Are you planning on a certain range size as I remember that you mentioned that you would need a tweeter sent to you if you were going to make them for a select few.
Mine will probably have Focals. |

Unfortunately no update. I am having real trouble getting someonw who will do it.
I have spent over $100 in phone calls and still getting no where. I will keep trying for a couple more weeks and then might have to call it quits and just sell off the one set i have...
