Ok I have been hassled from a heap of people interested in the A-Pillars I made up to suit my EL falcon. I have bought my old ones back and I am looking to get a custom mould made of them and have them produced. I am seeking expressions of interest from people to get them done. I am not doing it to make huge profits but because a heap of people have asked.

As the mould costs a few thousand $$$ to produce I am seeking expressions of interest before I invest a heap of money into this project. Now I’m not sure on asking price as I don’t have costs finalized but can give the following guidelines.

Details
- A-pillars to suit EF and EL model falcons.
- They will be direct bolt on pillars with no modifications required or extra holes to drill.
- They should be offered in both grey and cappuccino but the first batch is likely to be grey.
- Price will be MAX $200pr but I am aiming for $150 pr and will INCLUDE postage Australia wide
- There will be a 10% discount for orders of 3 or more.

Your thoughts ?

PS
I am also considering having kick panels molded which would house
1 x 4â€￾ and 1 x Tweeter
+
Door pods to house a 6.5â€￾ midbass.

Are these thing people are interested in also?

As long as you do make them in crappoccino at some point :)

They look very good, Dont suppose you would install some tweeters and the pillars for a decent price ? :)

What do you mean? Install your tweeters in thje A-pillars for you ?
Or do you mean supply tweeters with the a-pillars?

As far as installing it is very straight forward, just take the old ones out and place these there with tweeter in place. Then run wire down behind it to the amp or crossover or whatever your running…

I've always been eyeing off those A pillars, very clean install so i'll be up a pair if they do come in cappaccino aswell.

Looks like i'll have to offer them in that colour.... No problem, except i dont have that colour as a template so i'll need to buy a pair so i can colour match...

Pyroay are the door pillars the same for the EA as they are on the EF - EL

E.G. Where they meet the dash and the roof e.t.c.

My interior is grey and just wondering if these pillars will fit it.

Thanks mate, can you tell me if the color is the same as well. or if it atleast blends with the rest of the dash and so forth.

I can always change their color though i guess.

Out comes the spray can, if they fit of course

No need to change the colour. It match (or at least very close).

These are designed to be a bolt up replacement. You would take your old ones off and put these on for a factory look with tweeters in the A-Pillars pointing across the car for good imaging and staging.

As mentioned I may then offer 6.5â€￾ midbass pods for the map pockets so you can just pull your old pods off and bolt the new ones on.

So Pyroay you are saying that the colour matches the EA Falcon grey interior as i asked in my post above. does that mean you have already checked to see if it fits in the EA. :?

I will definately get a set off you if you can get them. I just happen to have those tweeters and have been meaning to make up a set of A-pilars myself, but if you can get them then i'm definately down....

Ok got my first price back on the Pillars.
$211.50pr + postage (that’s MY BUY price)

WOW who said there is not money in plastic that is pretty expensive.
I am hoping to get some other quotes over the next week and see if I can make this viable. Perhaps there is a reason why small business can’t normally afford to do this sort of thing.
