I am after a photo of the rear parcel shelf.
I want to put a sub in the rear shelf and was wondering what the factroy
one looked like from the top.
with the cover over it.

It's actually mounted underneath the shelf, it has a grill but i can only assume thats for some kind of protection, as the don't cut a whole in the carpet like in au on premo sound.

Ok thats ok then i guess does the factory sub bolt in from the bottom.

the premo sub bolts in from the bottom, but you almost need to remove the rear parcel shelf completely to get it out, and there is a grill on the sub itself as well, the EL premo system in the fairlanes is actually raised and sits above the parcel shelf, very functional but two small 8's in the boot work better, and you're not limited by what sizes you can use etc...

there rare as those sub things that sit above the parcel shelf, iirc there only for cars that had lpg fitted from factory. normal cars had the sub hidden under the parcel shelf.

The sub bolts in from the top. The only way you can see it's there is the dust marks on the shelf carpet from the sub grill opening into the boot. :)
