Hey guys,

For the past few days I've been trying to figure out how to splice into high-level speaker input in an FG XR6, pass it to line converter and send it off to sub.

But what if I were to take the sound directly from my phone and pass it to the RCA cable that goes to the boot? That way, the 3.5mm jack sends the signal to the stock head unit & speakers as well as the sub/amp in the back.

I base this idea on the fact that the phone's output is already line level according to wiki.

One disadvantage to this would be the fact that I'd be able to use mah sub only with Aux in and not with radio/CD, which is fine by me, seeing as I never use the latter.

Thoughts?

Edit: Yes it can be done. And sounds damn awesome too.
