Ok I am attempting to put a decent stereo in my fg. Stereo is as follows.

Audison bitten processor
Ground zero 6.5 splits front
Ground zero 6.5 2ways rear
2x digital design 10" subs
2x digital design amps to run speakers and subs

Apart from the cost of all that (already brought and have a much lighter wallet) I need some advice on speaker mounting and splicing in to the icc.

So 2 questions

1. If the standards mount doesn't work (with a little modification) what model alpine is the other mount from that fits original screw holes.

2. Where at the icr can I splice in. I would prefer not to run from each door

Also if anyone has any original speakers cheap so I can do this without stereo downtime lol let me know

You can splice from the door looms for the speakers

I could but don't want to that it would mean I would have to run the power cable down the centre of the car to avoid potential feedback due to close proximity to the power wire

If you are going to use the original mounts they will probably require some modification, especially at 6.5
I only just squeezed 6" into my doors
I recommend looking into making some of your own basic mounts with wood or something.

Try going to club_fg on facebook and asking for the wiring diagram for under the dash.
I would get it for you, but have been kicked once again.
With that wiring map it should be pretty easy to tap each of the wires under the dash and just run them up opposite the power cable.
