i have just bought a BA wagon and want to install a 12 inch sub. i am not putting it behind the seats as normal i am putting it in the r/h 1/4 panel behind the wheel arch. wat i need to know is how to make the curved shape over the wheel arch. i have made the front and bottum and part of the back out of MDF and ive made the shapes out of fine chicken wire. now i have built up over the wire aboput 15mm or so with fiberglass filler will this work ok or have i just wasted a day?

it depends if u know the right people then it wont be expensive, but from bunnings ect, looking at a fair price, try boat repair shops, i get mine from Boronia Marine,

50sqm fibreglass matting $40
10L of resin + enough catalyst to cover $60

enough to last me a while. around 10+ car audio projects.
