Grab some LED's for flashing with the music.
Neon's don't take too kindly to rapid on-off operation, wears out the inverter pretty quickly, as they're igniting a gas so work better in prolonged use situations.

I'm running a pair of the LED spotlights (daylamps) found on ebay, only paid 50c for them, figured I'd find a use for them.
They're running off a spare outlet on the sub amp and as they draw such low power there's no problem. They light up instantly, are dimmer at lower volumes, bright as hell when it's cranked up and flash in perfect time to the beat. Hooked up a 20m LED rope light the other night, which is around 200 diodes, to see if the amp could handle it they lit up the whole front yard to the music!

HA, f**k the habibs, hopefully attract all the stoners up here and sell em munchies.

I did a quick install of 5m of the green LED rope into the boot today and repositioned the blue LEDs, just need to dynamat the bootlid so they'll reflect off it.
Below is a short vid (about 2mb) to give you an idea of how bright they are.
