Bought a new sub and amp lastweek, Alpine type S 12" 300WRMS and an almpine monoblock amp.

My battery has been going flat since i installed it, i knew it would draw some current, but gawd daaammnn? Is there something wrong with the way ive wired it up maybe? Because even when im not pumpin it, the battery light will flash on and off most of the time.

Is there some sort of capacitor or something you can buy to store charge?

What should i do?

Have you tested to make sure tyhe amp is turning on and off with the remote turn on?

if not use a test light and connect it to groud then the remote turn on.

Amp should be off when accessories is off.
