has any one re positioned there cd stacker from an ef el fairmont. im finding it annoying as it always gets hit in the boot. thinking of relocating it to my glove box if it fits, has any one done or attempted this

yes it can be done ,depending on where you want to place it in the car make sure you trace the din cable carefully and dont pull on it otherwise the pins will come away.the easyiest way if you want to relocate it is to place it under the passenger seat which is easy to do with the front facing the dash.but make sure you remove back seat and side trims and pull out din cable easy,once u have reached under the seat with cable get knife cut a little slit in carpet under seat and fead cable up and then plug back in.

yeah mine is under the passenger seat - easy to lean over and get to.
