I plan to buy one of the plug in ones off ebay for cheap and hard wire it to the phone power, speaker, and mute lines behind the fusebox....

i had one that i hooked up to the wrong inverter in the house and roasted the board, but from the internals, should be a piece of piss if i attempted it again.

then just run a wire and switch to the mute line...or maybe someone with a bit more knowledge could rig up a relay when the phone rings to auto mute the line
