I have a 1998 ford laser which has a Dynamco immobiliser fitted (don't know whether this is an aftermarket product), but no alarm and activated/deactivated with a remote. The immobiliser module is held in place with tie wraps and wires from the module are covered with black insulation tape. The car did not have central locking.
I have recently fitted a central locking kit on the doors and I am trying to integrate it into the remote of the immobiliser. The central locking module has two wires for locking and unlocking the doors. However I am finding difficulty in locating the wires on the Dynamco module to tie into. From the Dynamco website, it appears that there should be a lock and unlock wire from this module. Can someone advise on what is the best way to locate the wires? eg what colour coding and a possible location that after market installers may place the wires? Or is the best option to open the unclip the module and open it for a look? In that case, what should I be looking for ? Thanks |
