yehs sometimes ya gotta be a lil rough with it...its held in by clips and sometimes ya just need to give it a quick up ward jolt to get it free...there is a tech doco on it i'll see if i can track it down....got pics too.

yeh dude i cant find the thread and it isnt in the tech doco from what i can see...but yeh just slightly angle the base of the trim away from the door and then a quick jolt upwards...should unclip it.

if you mean the bit that has to go up over the lock (Dunno about EF/L's but i only have a lock on the drivers side, locks all doors) the door you have to bend out towards yourself and push up over the lock, its really quite hard to describe how to do this, just keep doing stuff till something works, thats ussually what i do :P

i got it off i did as you said big kev shunting it upwards and it came off, wired up everything and then i found out i dont hav any more solder, so now i have to wait for my dad to get home with it so i can finish it off.

Taking off the drivers side is exactly the same yeh? im just worried about the mirror mover thing.

cheers
anthony.

screwdriver job - ply it up and it pops out. disconnect the lug and you're right to go!
