holes have to be enlarged.
I had a set of fusion FPC-65 powerplants in my front doors. nicest sounding speakers that I ever had. too bad the crossovers shorted out

Fusions top of the range stuff is actually very good - the silver stuff I'm talking about. PowerPlant is black mid range gear, also good. There cheapies are the Encounter range, bright green stuff.

As for 6.5" into 6" holes, sometimes it's not an issue as different manufacturers measure there speakers differently, and often 6.5" and 6" is actually the same size.
You can always grab some speaker spacers though if need be.

I'm a huge fan of Fusion. Even the Encounter stuff, the low end. I have a single 12" Encounter sub, and it absolutely hammers. Goes harder than my mates twin 12" JBL subs. I have nothing but praise for Fusion. I'll stick with them throughout my audio system without doubt.

Not a fan, but I prefer high-end stuff. I'd still buy Boston Acoustics or Focal low-end stuff over Fusion gear.

I don't think Boston Acoustics or Focals low end stuff is in the same price range as Fusions common Encounter range.

we sell the fusion speakers n amps at work and they destroy most of the base model pioneer and other stuff across the board......much more realistic power ratings too.....all in all cant go wrong for how cheap the encounter stuff is.....retail of $99 for splits....vs the pioneers at $299......fusions win no doubt lol......gud luck with the install

Id rather spent the extra and buy something that will not only last longer but will have a higher quality sound. Would you use Home Brand oil in your car, its cheap and looks the same as the good oil!!!

Have you actually used them?
Calling tehm home brand is a bit out there. They are not a bad bit of gear considering there price. Home brand is what you'd call somethintg like Sound4 that Repco sell - and there is a big sound difference between the Fusion gear and Sound4 of similiar speaker size.
I'm not saying theyre the best, you get what you pay for. But for most they are more than good enough.
Plus there not made in some s**t asian factory AFAIK, as the company is New Zealand.

I'm happy to sell it. If someone walks in and says "I want that", I won't stop them. But if someone asks me about it, I'll openly and honestly tell them that if tehy buy it they will more than likely be coming back to return it on warrenty (for the headunit). The speakers are alright, they're s**t made, but they do the job, I've never had a set returned to me in 3 years - plenty of headunits but.

Havn't seen one of them for a while now!
Those black FX-116 - the ones that the screen turns off and it just looks black seem to sell like hot cakes!
AFAIK Repco only continues to deal with Sound4 because Sound4 have a really good warrenty system, and often admit fault without checking the units, etc. So it's still profitable for Repco despite the warrenty returns. And after so many years of it, people still continue to buy them!
