Yeah had to buy myself a new amp as the 2ch Coustic that i had running my JL W3V2-D2 sub lost its low pass filter. It still runs on high pass and pass all. Anyways i went for the JL A1400 Class D mono block with remote sub control. Im yet to install it but will let you all know how it goes.

Specs are;
0.08% THD+Noise (20-250Hz) 240W RMS x 1 @ 4ohm, 400W x 1 @ 2ohm.
1% THD+Noise (20-250Hz) 320W RMS x 1 @ 4ohm, 500W x 1 @ 2ohm.
Low pass filter: State variable, 12dB/octave Butterworth or 24dB Linkwitz-Riely with continiously variable cutoff frequency selection from 40-200Hz.

As i said ill see how it goes. I think i got it for an ok price at $451 down from $600.

Well its all in and im impressed, makes the old amp sound like a whimp! the remote sub control is very handy (45Hz boost control). Had to modify the shelf that mounts the amps as the new one is a bit higher and the centre seat belt mount was in the way. I may have to look into the W3V2 12" sub soon !

remote bass controll is better than sliced bread, i have a MTX Thunder 3401, 470rms rated by mtx and it hammers the 2 pioneer 12's i have, no more adjusting bass from the head unit 8-) , how much did one of those set you back, the mtx cost me $450 from strathfield

JB had a special on for $499 down from $599, i got it for $451. Its 500w RMS @ 2ohm. Had it going pretty hard today and it was as cool as a cucumber which means its efficient yet powerful.
