Yes I have had one in my car for the last couple of years and I am very happy with it. Got mine through a guy in The Gong and there is a service place here in Sydney if you have problems. Good quality picture with the DVD and region free, system could do with a little more bass but that was fixed with the amp and sub. |

Mate my advise would be to just save a bit more and get a half decent brand one, even if its still a newish second hand one i reckon its worth the extra coin!
Ii had a cheap one as well "gonon" or something from china/ singapore, it started off really good then the illumination lights on the keys said "F" it which wasnt that much of an issue, then the remote packed it in which was a bit annoying but could still use the touch screen, then the unit itself started playing funny buggers and i eventually lost some control on the touch sceen so i cracked it and bought a second hand sony for $600 off ebay XAV W1 is the model name. Also i found the display for fm radio is fairly plain and boring on the cheap ones and the equaliser and sound settings isnt as in depth as well. In saying that though i havnt heard any feedback on the type your looking at so up to you i spose. Cheers Brent.

yeh i've got one in my car too. had it in for about a year. no problems what so ever.
picture quality on a movie is pretty darn good, but as SWC said it lacks bass , but again my sub and amp fixed that. bit late, but throwin' in my 2 bobs worth. |
