We had this prob on the old EB falcon about 2 yrs ago. Was a fuse.

Lights worked fine, and when pulled back for high beams to flash them, it overpowered (used power from lights to do high beams), then when we put the high beams properly on, fuse for the lights didn't power it... therefore no lights)

So maybe just check ya fuses. Otherwise I got no idea =]

it could possibly be the actual peg (the stick that you move  )

take it into a local mechanic get them to check it out for you quickly. i doubt they're gonna hit you up for anything to just have a look and see what they think it is.

Matey....

In my ED this started happening right before i sold it....

it was a bi-metallic strip that is designed as a self-resetting
over current device.....
trouble is as they get older, they get more sensitive,
so on low beam they were fine...flick to high beam and all
outside lights went off (spooky on a dark night)

Ford don't stock the part any more, and recommended replacing it with a 100A fuse.....which needed to be done by a leccy trickian....

(so i bought a BA instead)

cheers,
