i did mine facing the other way.

havnt secured mine either, but they dont move. the backing plate was attached to the back of the sub box with it lifted 5mm or so, meaning the backboard supports a bit of weight and cant really slice, should actually get some photos.


edit.

this is how mine is done. dont wanna steal ya thread, but dont feel mine is worthy of a new thread.


however, going from a 3.2cf ported box to a 2c/f sealed box, and facing them like they have, they are A LOT louder, and defiantly sound a lot tighter/punchier. im very happy.

yes, i still have to cover the screws properly, i installed it at 9:30 one night, so i didnt really care :D

and my amp have a nice blue LED on the fan in the middle when its on, comes liek that, i didnt rice it :P that looks cool.

naw, their just 12" babies, 200wrms each.

pump more than loud enough for me.


mate just got a pair of mtx 7500's. 400wrms each. needless to say, he has a little music with his boot rattle.

im not going to ask if its "fast n furious" inspired the green neon.. nup,not me... :wink: :lol: ... or is it a play on your user name? sounds good the plans you have.. will have to catch up again soon with kenwood for the second showdown of sound offs.. :lol: and sound system comparisons.. :wink:

Could always mount them with an occy strap. I like to be able to remove mine so i can access the full space with the seats folded down

not inspired from the movies,just had a couple of neons sitting around the garage and thought I'd use them! wanted to do a different setup a bit different from other people! mate your've seen my car got led and stuff everywhere,just finished one of my amps and is installed,hope to have both done on the weekend!

A good way to secure ure box an still be able to move it is to make up a bracket with a round hole in it big enough to go over the pins to hold the rear fold down seats up. Place the brackets over the pins and then screw the other side of it into the box. Then you can just push the box towards the cabin to get the brackets off the pins and then take box out. I will see if i can get ya a couple of photos of the brackets.

whats the measurments of your box, it looks snug, would a single 15 fit into this box?
