Hi Guys,

A couple of months ago I finished my boot install. It looked great but due to me trying to keep as much of my boot space as possible I ended up making the box to small and as we know, way to smalla box = SH*T bass. So am making some adjustments and would like to confirm that even though the subs only require 84L between them that 160L isn't going to be to much.

Thanks
Brice

160L will be fine provided you have the right size port to tune the box to the subs needs

why so big?

It was sort of accidentally on purpose. I was worried that my tens would be F**k and figured I would move to 15's if they were. So redisigned and found that the box would be rather big.

I was thinking I wouldn't port the box, do you think that will be a problem.

Thanks
Brice

has the box been built yet??

if not, just build it a bit smaller so it suits the subs

sub works by displacing air
so if you port you increase air available to be displaced ie get better bass
simple physics my dear Watson
