Can you tell us a bit more about your subs? Number of voice coils, and impedance? IE 2 x 4 ohm voice coils etc???
But at a guess, maybe a Jaycar 820W or 1500W monoblock would do a good job.

i generally go about getting an amp by going to a store and purchasing one... alternatives are going to a store, picking it up, putting in your pocket and run. Driving around finding a car with one in it and taking it for yourself, etc.

Well the jaycar 1500w monoblock will be perfect then.

Run all four voice coils off it in parallel, and you will get approx 325wrms per voice coil, and the full 1500wrms from the amp.

They can be found on ebay for about $550.
