well i used sikaflex on the inside of the boot lid frame. i just seen that expanda foam in the holes along the rigdes of the boot lid that looks like a great idea that crap is messy to use but. Each triangle section of the bootlid i used the stuff that Jaycar sell, i bought 6 rolls of it. Ihave a bit of Dynamat as well laying around but i dont know where to put it yet.
The side walls of my boot and the rest is about 40% complete so i can still improve a heap, the floor is done around the wheel well only.

put it this way that sikaflex is strong as. its holding my brake pads in too lol its strong and it worked. iN terms of rattle i filled watever i could, im really happy with wat i have done so far, i have one or 2 rattles only on certain songs mind you. this expanda foam has given me ideas again. My mate with his Ef used that stuff and he has no rattles with 2x15's but its alotta work i think.

i think i'll worry bout it later. i still gotta change my factory headunit yet and then tune it in properly with the new headunit. Once thats complete then i'll look at deadener again.

i got the premium sound kit on my AUII XR6 and we have a rattling bootlid wen i turn it up too high. Hopefully if I try a few of these ideas I'll be able to fix it. Only minor but the premium sound was no stock s**t sound system ooof it pumps.

Yeh I used sikaflex on my EB and it worked wonders fixed every rattle. A mate used that expanding foam on his VL and it made a few little dents in his bootlid. I would recommend sikaflex covered with some sound deadener.
