i have a us audio xtreme competion 1100watt amp,and a jvc 1200watt subwoofer here is so much bass in the car i would only last 10 mintues with the sound turned up to 20,the rear view mirror twists shakes from bass i was jsut wondering who on this site likes this much bass?

You need to hear some good equipment... Then you'll know what loud is :twisted:

well i got the sub connected to channel 5 on the amp,the gain is turned up to just more then half and frequency is at i think 90

I agree. His rear view mirror only shakes. Mine falls off (after it rattles the grub screw loose).

you want really monster (but competition clean) bass.. get a couple of JL 13W7's with the amps to match..

If you can even sit in the car with it cranked after wards without wanting to throw up.........

bit pricey though.... I have two MTX 12 inches and the have enough base for me now.

Im runnin a single pioneer 12 inch, custom sealed box.. feeding it about 500 rms nice and clean for my likings.

Wouldnt mind running some DD gear tho, now that stuff gets the bass happnin

I aim more for SQ, but my amp is rated at 580ishwrms@2ohms (JBL mono, was underrunning this a little though - sub is only 400wrms rated) and it still managed to make my rear view mirror fall off every couple of weeks if I didn't tighten it.

hmmm DD...one 8" sub has the equivalent power requirement as my 2 10" subs with better quality bass :D
