From memory, you climb into the boot and undo the nuts off the four long bolts poking down. Then head back into the cabin and the grille and speaker should lift out together

Use an electrican screw driver the little small flat head one and try to flick it off. (becareful not to put too much into it thou you dont wanna hit the back window
Good luck, hope that helped you

Trying to get the grill off is gonna break it if not the rear window when or if it comes off lol! Any tricks to this; special tool tha wont damage the grille any more? Just use the little screw like i said and try to wedge it up one side at a time so its slowly coming off from all sides, then once its sortof out just use your hands to take it off from there. It shouldnt damage it doing it that way.. Its a metal grille isnt it or is it plastic?

Thats good then, coz i just checked and thier splits are 6' or 6.5' if you use thier grilles, which you wont be so yeah. I would definately reccommend Alpine splits They will fit no worries, only problam also with replacing new front speakers is the size of the magnets.
Some mabe too big and chunky for it to fit properly.

OK, yer got that done this morn, 6.5inch fitted with slight modification, nithing big or ugly hehe; couldnt use stock grills ut you can barely see in my rear window anyway unless you go upto it with your hards covering ALL light hehe!
Looking for some splits for the fronts now; either bostons, dyn, focal, top end alpine. Rear speakers KILL my stock fronts atmo, but ill sort it out as i go along hehe.
