With a tap and die, or a center punch and hammer.
Eitherway.

and if you do it in that order and don't do it right you can always heli-coil it out
just go for it with the hammer and punch method, what's the worst that could happen? :P

what you need is a High to Low level convertor... You tap into the rear speaker wires using some spare speaker cable to hook up to the convertor then using RCA coax to hook up to your Amp...

Available on Evilbay for about $15

Yea, id go with the punch method too, the tap and die is more for aftermarket qualitly speakers.

Sorry to Re-hash this. for probably the 1000000000th time now. but im struggling to get a clearcut answer on the best method for non cosmetically damagine stereo upgrades.

Plan is to run Sub and perhaps amp existing speakers for premium sound BA XR8. Thoughts?

best way to upgrade the speakers on the BA is totally fuk off them 5X7 shlt speakers and stick some 6" splits in doors and shelf.
Just gotta get some spacers for the 5X7 slot to suit the 6" woofer. and they sit under the normal grill things so the only way to tell is if you spot the tweeter.
And leave the bass work for the sub.
