so I thought I would buy a new amp a new monitor and some response 6es and install all the bits and pieces I had laying around
I now have
front pillar trims Kicker tweeters
front doors Kicker 4 inch Response 6inch Jaycar tweeters custom pods
rear pillars Jaycar tweeters
tailgate Kenwood 6x9
2 x proline{jaycar}12inch subs
pioneer headunit eurovox dvd player cheap a*** 7inch monitor
Clarion 4 channel tenvox 2 channel pioneer 2 channel{being replaced}
I have done the whole install myself including the door pods and sub box {gold mirrors inside & clear front & sides} I put the dark cover over the amps so its not that visible being a wagon its hard to hide.I havent quite finished it yet im not happy with the headunit surround and im going to make the door pods part of the trim {when i retrim the old girl} I also have to polish the sub box and colour the edging but the whole thing owes me less than 1500
Its only putting out 125db but its crystal clear

How do you go with the TFT in the second DIN slot, does it interfere with the stick? I had to have mine in the top for that reason.

no problem as when it is out in the vertical position you can slide it back and it rests against the surround

I used the original top mount and made a vertical brkt to join the others on so they bolt to original holes then with two of the screws on the facia they screw to the angle brkt I made.Bit of a b**ch trying to plug it all in when the leadlight s**t itself while I got hands everywhere[/i]

started with pre made pods to suit 6inch and tweeter available from wow or most stereo shops screwed them to 18mm mdf then made a 4 inch base and glassed it on then shaped with body filler
