Is there a diffrence in a I6 110 amp Alt and a One on a v8, wat i want to know will a 110amp EF?EL Alt fit on a 5.0 in a EB, do i need a ALT made for a v8 or not can i use the one off a I6 ???

EF 6 & 8 = 110 amp's
EL 6 & 8 = 100 amp's
All are interchangeable but the ef has higher amps.

For EA - AD

Bosch = 60, 70 & 85 amp (I6)
Mitsubishi = 70 & 85 amp (I6)
Motorcraft = 90 amp (V8)
My EB = 110amp
