I Think they are green in Fairmonts. Fairlane may be white as id assume it would have premium ICC :|

Thanks buddy, it's a premium black one so I'd guess will be white, green will look a little yuck with the rest of the XD blues white I can handle thanks again.

Will start a new thread in the next few weeks showing my work and progress in my lukeyson inspired manuel to auto air con conversion and the other bits and bobs I do.

If you want dual zone I dont think it is just a straight swap over though. I think you have to modify the heater box also.

that's correct you do need to modify the heater box.
:) i do want the duel zone that's the goal in the end, nope its not as simple as swapping just the ICC over its a dash out job to do the heater rods. i did have the ICC swapped over today just to see how the new one looks in the car. just waiting on a few bits then the full conversion will take place. I'm looking at swapping the dash loom to Fairmont giah, as well as the main side looms to Fairmont giah also to support memory seat and mirrors and passengers power seat down the track.

The item in the pic is the part that connects the mixer shaft to the HIM. Should be one each side IIRC

i was thinking there was, wanted to check. i'm doing a duel zone conversion and this was going to be the little bit that got me i think, i should grab one from the wreckers just in case although with some contorting it may be possible to do that bit with the dash in, the rest of the job its not
