My ICC has stopped producing sound, all other functions appear OK. It did it a few days ago and turning the car off and on again resolved it, today it just stopped no amount of resetting will bring it back. I checked all fuses except fuse #28 amplifier (too hard to check) and all ok.
I had some work done on the exhaust involving welding the same day of the first failure, could his have killed it?

Welding shouldn't be done without an antizap thingo on the battery on a car with electronics... It is possible to kill it... Seems really odd that this is happened... I've pulled on to bit to fit a double din unit to the BF... Can't think of anything from my research that will help you... If all speakers stopped together it's not likely to be the speakers... If powering down and up fixed it then who knows what is the problem
Have you had a code reader on it to see if the ICC has any codes built in? Failing that I'd try changing it out which involves the fun task of reprogramming it in... Cheers, Tim

thanks Tim, I would expect welding to have done immediate and permanent damage, as it resolved its self once this may indicate an issue else where.

Yeah I've never seen it before, but hear about it and always used on of those protector things...
Easiest thing is always the code scan if you know someone with one... Cheers, Tim

DTC B2408-21 speaker shorted.
Metered all 4 speakers and no shorts, all 4 ohms Need to check for short to ground next but does anyone know if the dtc tells which speaker? Tim you are a legend..... Turns out the welding was Not the cause but the the associated work was. Tek screws used during the lpg install through the floor pan into my wiring loom in several places.

Fantastic that we know now then...
Shame it's going to be a prick to fix... Bloody lucky that they didn't cause your car to catch fire... a**hole... Can't help you with the dtc but mate... If it's doesn't say in the description, I wouldn't think it'd be specific enough... Just sees the fault and shuts the amp down to protect it... Cheers, Tim
