hey guys. im soon to be putting a ps1 in the car, and it will be mounted underneath the passenger seat. now, i would prefer to not have to use an inverter, and would like to hook up the playstation directly to the 12 volt, but i understand that playstations run on 7.5 volt DC. so my question is, would something like this do?

Anything that outputs the required voltaged at the required current will do the trick (check the one you got with the system to see the current requirements you'll be after). Don't get sucked into buying "Sony" gear as it's ridiculously overpriced.
