Hey guys,
Just been browsing ebay and stuff for dvd players.
Just wondering whats a good dvd player to buy?
Im after one with a flip out 6.5" or 7" screen which is also a cd/mp3 player all in one..
I have no real idea on these things, but some of em seem pretty cheap.
Not too sure if they're a good choice or not.
Or can anyone recommend me to someone that sells nice cheap ones? :p

Cheers

EDIT: Also, i'd like to know how these sort of dvd players go in EF/EL's? Do they hit the dash or anything?

I bought mine off ebay about a year ago, still payed less for it brand new that what it is now at jb-hi-fi.

Ive got the Pioneer AVH-P5700DVD its the american version, i wanted it because its black not grey, and it has heaps of features.
It doesnt have the best equaliser settings but it is very good compared to having to spend $1000 more, good thing is that its one unit and is as simple to install as any other aftermarket head unit, its touch screen and its got heaps of inputs and outputs which i run my 4x pioneer 6"s direct off the head unit and they sound very clear and loud, i got a 15" roofscreen off it aswell which i got off ebay for $150 i recomend getting one of those aswell, got the playstation into it aswell, plays dvd vcds mp3s, its an awesome head unit and the picture quality is one of the best ive seen its very clear compared to others, the australia version is AVH-P5750DVD

only thing is, you have to mount the unit out a little bit by a few cms if you want the right viewing angle, but you dont really notice it, thats because the plastic bit below the vents gets in the way, also gotta leave those vents off so no hot or cold air gets on the screen itself. Ill go take a photo now.

pics

i payed about 800 for the screen about a year ago off ebay brand new. I have bought and sold many things on ebay and never had a problem, just gotta know what people to deal with. I use to buy the square kicker subwoofers from american ebay then sell them back on australian ebay for big profit up until the fuel prices made the delivery prices real expensive and no longer worth me selling them.

the light doesnt show how clear the pictures are and its just a vcd playing in these pics so its not best resolution on the big screen.
