aiight, instead of me paying 400 bux for 4 new actuators from ford, i spent like 99 dollars and got a full sentral locking kit....
thing is... i have it all figured out except for 1 thing, where the hell do i get the wires thru the firewall?? and it has to start from the battery, to the driver side door..
i have an ef falcon.. can sum1 please tell me where i can got about 5 metres of wire thru the fire wall on the drivers side.. PLEASE!!!!

Umm not sure particularly if you have a sub and amp set up, this may be filled but if not there's always the whole just above the footrest pedal that comes out next to the brake booster.
If this isn't possibles theres supposedly others but I'm not sure of where they are yet...

nah i dont got an amp or sub yet.. i think ill go have a look... btw, whats the brake booster?? and how visible is it? any pics wud b a huge help :-P

i did a jaycar aftermarket kit. great to get rid of the stupid slow motors. why do you need to get wires through to the engine bay? the factory wiring goes to each door- utilise it!
also if you need to ask what the brake booster is, i suggest going to the local library, borrowing a repair manual and browsing through, looking at the pictures and descriptions and getting yourself familiar with the basic workings of your car. your a young fella. do a bit of research and youll know all about it in no time :wink:

yep. they all go back to under the dash, so mount your motors, cut and shut the wires that went to the old motors, and get the power etc from the instrument cluster. easy!

wers the power source for the instrument cluster? and what do u mean by cut and shut lol?

cut and shut is cut the old wires, checking which is power etc, and join to the new actuators

well i have the guy comin round 2 moro mornin to fix it for me... hes puttin a whole new central locking kit in.. will my boot and fuel release still work when i put my fuse back in for the old central locking???
