G'day
I'm currently in the process of scrounging together parts for a car computer that I'll be installing in my ED futura and just wanted some advice

I was planing on building the computer box from wood (same stuff for sub boxes) would this be ok? (catching fire ect)

I was planing on having an inverter type unit to power the PSU on the computer Should I hardwire them together?

is there anywhere solid in the middle of the dash That would support a 15' LCD screen? :o

Anything else?

Simon

wood casing shold be ok as long as its still got plenty of ventilation.

look for a 12V DC PSU - then you don't need an inverter ;)

i'm not as familiar with ED's, but if you haven't got a passenger airbag, above the glovebox would be a good spot in EF/EL's
