mate these are the go. i've got a H140 the 40GB model which come out before the colour 340. i highly recomend the irivers. personally i think they are better than ipod- inbuilt fm radio, line in & out, optical in & out, comes with a remote, upgradable firmware.
my HU has got AUX RCA inputs so now i don't have to carry 10000 cd's with me, just a little mp3 player! i'd buy it if i were you

mine was $700 but i had to import it from the US coz they weren't available in Oz at that time. i think they are cheaper than that now. can i suggest a good set of headphones to go with it. i bought a pair of sennheiser (sp??) and they are fricken kewl.

one of my mates just bought the 40gig colour media one and it is awesome, it really does s**t all over the ipod, you can outt all your photos on there, video clips movies etc

the iRiver looks like a great product, but ive heard lots and lots of bad feedback regarding hard drive failure, and also really really bad after sales support.
just playing devils advocate.
