is it safe to put a subwoofer in the boot if i have a lpg system? i know it sounds like a stupid question, but i just wanted to know

perfectly safe..... several members on here are driving self propelled barbecues (cars on LPG) with a decent stereo setup sitting happily in the boot

if you keep the wiring clean

can u tap into the LPG tank and literally make a fold out bbq? that would be a damn interesting back yard project.

BBQ LPG and Vehicle LPG uses a totally different mixture of Butane/Propane from each other ... and really don't work to well together.

Are you sure??? I think there is a very very slight difference. At the wrecker we used to hook up the bbq gas bottle to the LPG tank and a car battery to the LPG tank to equalize the gas presures and then we would cook lunch USNING THE LPG. It didnt make any difference to the way the BBQ worked. And it wasn't just that bbq. But i may be wrong its just personal experience.

I had a sub when I had LPG.
Also used one of the legs of the tank as an earth, dunno if that was safe... It does muffle the bass slightly, but theres no danger in it.

You can use LPG from a car but it has an odour and its more of an orange flame.
Perfectly safe to use a Sub aswell! |

But i may be wrong its just personal experience. you are right, however LPG for barbeques is slightly more purified and contains a couple of different chemicals as i can recall. As for burning, as you say they are very similar.

Yes you are right, however a BBQ will work perfectly well on Auto gas. I use to do it all the time, ssshhh!

Isnt BBQ LPG 100% propane, where Automotive LPG is 50/50 mix of propane and butane..

perfectly safe man... i got 2 12's with a big mono block amp and its sweet... sounds real good cause of only half the boot space
