After reading a post about this so called MTX Jackhammer Subbie, I couldnt help get curious! After doing a bit of looking around, I couldnt find any pictures of cars with this sub. I was just curious as to how the hell you could mount one of these suckers into a car. Once again, Pimp My Ride showed me the way. I was at a mates place the other day, on the piss, and he suddenly said "Man, you gotta check out this sub." I cant rember which episose it was, but yep, there was this jack hammer, on a pallet, on a forklift. They had to build a steel frame box, And then build a back brace for it as well. There was no back seat, and this sub was just about touching the back of the front seats. Looked insane. They had to lift it into the car with an engine crane!
They cranked it up and I think it was peaking at around 100dB and it could have gone much harder than that. They had xzibit trying to talk and his speech was all broken so they had to use subtitles! What a sub, and trust a company such as MTX to bring out such a work of art! I think that it was a season 4 episode of PMR but cant be certain. I would highly recomend looking at this sub if you havent done so allready! Its Insane! |

advertising gimmick. never read of a anyone buying one and i don't think it would be that good. why get a 22" sub? all it means is it plays lower frequencies, a 15 almost goes as low as a human ear can hear! size doesn't mean volume remember.
and all the amps and capacitors n crap he says you need...load of crap. Why? why not just get a nice big mono block amp and a couple deep cycle high CCA battery and upgrade the wiring in the car. Rhyso
