I have two 10" Alpine SWR-2540 subs and I don't know anything about them. Only that on the back it says that they put out 1000w max (meh) and 300w RMS.

Basically, I was wondering if anyone is running a setup with these subs, what sort of box I should get (size wise) and what sort of amp I should use to power them.

I have searched Google and the results showed nothing. Basically looking for some details/info on them. I got them off a mate for free.

Have you contacted Alpine directly? They should be able to help you with what you want...

Yeah I have, about the same time as I posted this. Just trying to get info from a range of sources. Hopefully they'll reply soon.

Can't tell you alot about box size, but if their 300watt RMS, then deff get a monoblock for them, as one amp or briding amps is 1. messy and 2. not as efficent as the good old monoblock,
like pervious posts i've said get the v12 MR model monoblock alpine, ...espeically that you've got alpine subbies
