Hi guys,

I need to relocate the battery of my EF to the boot (or more accurately, to anywhere that's not the engine bay).

What's involved, what parts do I need and so on.

I think I need an Optima yellow top or Odyssey something so it can go in the cabin. I'm cool with that (although I have a fairly new normal battery that will go to waste). What model batteries do people recommend?

What sort of electrical cable do I need to run to the front of the car?
Can I just join the new cable from the battery to the normal positive power cables that connect to the battery?
I plan to just ground from the battery straight to the chassis. No problem there I'm assuming?
Obviously put a big f**k fuse or circuit breaker right next to the battery. What sort of current ratings are people using?
I want to run a battery kill switch so I can isolate from under the bonnet - once again, what sort of parts do people recommend
I also wanted to run a positive battery post (I've seen it once before) in case I need a jump start at any point - does anyone know where to get them from?

I think thats all my questions for now. I look forward to some responses.

Thanks guys,
Nic

Hey guys, thanks for that. Yeah, I knew about the VEs, and I've seen a handful of E-series with that kind of thing as well.

Thanks Benji, model number helps too.
