So ive had a think about it and the idea of a cd stacker seems a bit s**t.

Im thinking if i could find an alpine M-bus to mp3 player (ie 3.5mm stereo jack) i could plug an mp3 player in instead of having to mount a cd stacker.

Has anyone done this (apart from the tech doco)?

Can anyone see any problems id have?

Any suggestions?

I got sick of the stacker after a short time, hated having to pull over just cause the missus wanted a certain cd played. I ended up installing a mp3 HU along with 2 amps, sub and front splits! looks IMO alot better than the premium system and sounds alot better too. I also gained an extra storage pocket in the dash.
