I just found a kick a** way to improve my sound system and the music i play!!!! And it doesnt cost ne money, or requires any real effort. All i have been doing is completely editing the music i play. For instance the max volume i would play my music atm is about 17 and thats getting pretty loud, but comfortable But now i can play my music on volume 13, 14 and 15!! and it sounds not only a s**t better but the bass!!!!! The BASS its awesome f**k all the heavy music i have been playing the bass has been beefed up and i now have a real bad headache! Which has never happened b4 while playing my music!! But yeah i make up all my CD's using Nero burning software but b4 burning the CD i higlight all the songs and then edit each one. By adding an enhanced Eq on each song and adding other bits and peices to bring out its true potensial! Ahh its crazy, im going to do it all the time now Does ne one else do this? Its worth it if youve got the right programs. Its made everything sound 110% better.

Yep all youve got to do is drag the song you want into the window (during the burning process) then highlight the song/s and either go to Edit song or song propeties (spelling) and then go to filters and click on eq and thenb you can edit oyur own or select from a list.
Easy as. It makes the song sound alot better. Its just up to how good you are at sound/music editing etc. Good luck

Yeah i know that NOW!! lol all my mates told me this the other night. (im not that computer techy as they are).
I think i need more practise at the eq, i made one of my Korn songs just a bit too bassy its kind of head jaring now lol. Even at low volumes.

Yeah but how good are your computer speakers mate? If they are s**t ones like mine then its all trial and error to determin whether it made a difference.
Unfortunately, but yeah you can preview the song/s once they have been edited.

I personally dont like to do this as i beleive it takes away from the NATURAL talent of the artists performing the songs that is why i NEVER turn up or down my bass, mid,or treble on my H/U

Problem is, if you've downloaded thetracks, then you don't know if the previous person that you got them off didn't already alter it, destroying the NATURAlness. Also, we all know artists play around with the equilazers and effects after recording! |

Mmm not nessicarily (spelling?) you could almost say that doing this enhances the SQ too, i mean the whole song sounds better than it was recorded. The fact that i was saying you can increase the bass etc etc. Was just one of the many things you can do IMHO it improves the whole song its self giving it a better overall SQ

u shouldn't need to EQ any music
the only reason u need an EQ is to make up for the deficiencies of the stereo system. careful you don't overboost a section (esp. sub-bass) as you will often "clip" the signal, and eventually do damage to your speakers
