hey all i have an el falcon 100 amp altenator and a 550 cca baterie ....
pioneer monoblok 800 watts and a alpine 2 channel amp wen ever i crank the stereo up and theres bass in the songs the dash deck headlights dim. can any one help and i have really good earths on both amps and even ran an extra earth from batterie to the chassis so WTF is wrong with it lol

Allow the battery to charge? Im sure with testing and sitting in the car adjusting bass and admiring your mirror shaking has drained it a bit

Upgrade the ground again, make sure they are the same gauge as your power for the amp and go from battery to the chassis and then to the engine.

Try adding a 2 farad Capacitor, this should...... minimize the flickering but prolly wont do much for dimming.

or

Put in rear second battery with a high discharge output and set up a dual battery charging battery circuit and strickly run the amps off that.

Source a larger output Alternator.

your stereo is flogging all the resources of grunt.. of course the lights will flicker!

ppl on here reakon caps dont work
is it easy to run a second batterie of the same altenator
