Well i've been doing this over a few weeks cause i haven't really had the time but all it really is, is 2 pieces of angle aluminium running across the gap, with a piece of ply bolted to it, with the amp bolted to the ply.

Could be done in like an hour or so now. Getting the power cable from the battery to the amp took a fair while. (and the rca leads to the amp).

I also have the amp activation wire (from head unit) running to my center console which has a lit up rocker switch which then runs under the carpet alongside gps antenna cable to the amp. Tonight i'll get some pics with the lappy running netstumbler hehe.

It's all coming together nicely i just need to get the source selector for the headunit ... but gf's birthday coming up so cant really afford it atm :(

Well....

I got the GPS from our range rover that doesnt get driven any more (so I paid $0 for it.. my dad kinda ditched my family so he's not gonna care haw ahw)

anyway the GPS is a Garmin GPSIII+ .. dad got it overseas (we had 2 of em) and they cost like a grand at the time. Kinda outdated now. Inbuilt maps are "okay" battery life is shocking (have to get the cable to hook it to my car .. or make one) but its cool.

Lappy thats in the car has a dead serial port so i haven't go around to getting any tracking software installed yet tho.
