I got my monitor yesterday & I have a eurovox dvd player that came from a vw that had the monitor stolen and it got replaced with an all in one unit.
I havent wired them in yet so what I was wondering is to get the sound from the dvd to the speakers would I have to use like a audio splitter {ie one out & 2 or 4 in} to switch the sound from my cd to dvd my headunit has no aux input

ud have to make ur own switch if u want to swtich between the cd and dvd player if ur CD player didn't come with an AUX in. you could try having RCAs running from the CD to the amp and also RCAs running from the DVD player to the amp as well and only run one thing at a time.....if the DVD player is off while ur listening to the CD it should just get signals from the CD player and vice versa.....im assuming you are running your speakers off an amp.

yes its all going to a couple of amps I was looking at a splitter which has built in switch I have to check that the dvd player has volume control tonight if not I will have to hook up via an fm modulator I got told today cheers

Does your headunit take a stacker?
If it does, you can most likely get an adaptor to connect your DVD sound through there. Seen it done several times. Kenwood and others. The adapter converts a stacker conneciton to an Aux-in for RCAs.

all done hooked up through a fm modulator and a splitter so i can plug my mp4 and whatever else I might need to
