Hi all,
I have just brought a new positive battery terminal for my car as the way my Starter, accesories and Amp plugged in was not very good. I think the wire is a 4GA for the starter and 8GA for the fuse box and amp. With the new block it is a screw in type with 2x4GA and 2x8GA. what is the best way of connecting the cable to the block? i was told a bit of solder will help. But want to get a lil more light on the subject. Thanks LN

mm
get teh new terminal in a pair of pliers with the connections facing up then strip the wires about 8mm or so then heat the terminal up with a oxy torch and melt some solder in there ( wont take more that 10 secs or so once the solder is in the terminal push the wire into the terminal and it will have a damn good connection and a very neat fit
