hey mate good to see a good choice, the T1000.bd will put out around 1486rms at 1 @hm min. thats that you will be running it at with you DUAL 2@HM voice coils.

so will sound very nice 750rms each sub.

u will prob need a 25farad cap too. massive headlight dimming.

but good work and it will sound better then you think it will.

Sounds like some nice stuff you have got make sure you post up pics of the install!! As rusty said you will prob need a cap cause there is some serious power drain form the amp! Also it is better to have a cap then crappy headlights!

HAhah that f**k talking tram s**t me up the wall!!
comes rattling past my house everyday!!!

I will be getting a cap, prob just buy one locally when i'm getting it installed!
will post pics when i get it done

cant wait :P

oh yeah i been thinking about the design, would it be possible to put mirrors on the inside walls of the box and have a glass bit to see in with a red neon to light her up???
thinking that might look alright!

cheers

Looks like you scored yourself a good set up.

reply to your design. First with the mirrors, are you using the mirrors as the actual side walling for the sub box or are you using MDF with the glass glued onto it? With the glass, where are you putting the glass, facing into the cabin or facing the boot and how thick is it going to be. Ported or non ported box.

Do a rough drawing on paint or something so we can all have an idea of how it may look like and what you really want done then we can all help somehow.

Ok i'm getting the guys at bendigo Auto sound to make it all up.
going to be non ported box
probably mirrors glued to mdf if that works..
and glass on the boot side of the box with the subs facing out towards the back seats so back of subs will be visible with the glass.
have to be that thick special glass and hopefully getting a Rockford logo etched into it..

not the best drawer on anythen... hopefully that discription helps

yeah cheers mate I know what you are talking about. The glass has to be pretty thick if you want to span the whole back seat :S. If the glass is going to be framed by MDF then it would be stronger. 2mm thick glass should do it :D
