Head unit might not be producing enough power for the speakers...better off with an amplifier :)

Sensitivity is generally lower on aftermarket gear, which means that it will be marginally quieter than stock gear.
Dont know why you bothered with rears but anyway.

Everyone is different. With different taste in music and how it sounds good to them.
Me personally. I like the sound comming from all around me. Not from just the front.

Plus if he is unlucky as me hehas a model with only the 4inch holes in the front doors.

Good front speakers and a sub/s can surround you and sound better than 4 speakers :)

Go to a show/concert/whatever, the speakers are in front of you. Music isnt made to be listened to in 5.1....

RMS would probably be around 50, a cheapy 4ch amp will be more than enough, and can power the fronts as well (which is what you should do first)

Just sayin man. That how I like it. Plus I can't do much with only the 4" holes.
Got some typeS in there. Sounds ok but needs splits.
Might do what a member on here did and put pods on the bottom of the doors with the tweeter in the 4in hole.
Plus it may have something to do with the staging as im really tall and my heads on the roof. Sounds like the musics comming from my feet without the rears.

Forget the rears, amp the fronts, I haven't run rear speakers in about 18yrs now, never missed 'em but then again I am running 8" 3 ways in the front and thinking of going back to 10" 3 ways.....
