Hey guys.
I got some 160W Pioneer speakers for the front doors today for $60.
I found an advantage to pioneers to be that they have the 3 hole or 4 hole set up and they fit perfectly on the count that ford used pioneer.

sounds heaps better than original. The original were starting to get surface rust. I got them from strathfield.

The originals were cracking and stuff so i was fading them to the back.

You will find alot of brands have the option of 3 or 4 fixing points. I have a set of JL Audio 6.5" splits that fitted into the factory hole in my doors with no mods. The speakers you have are a dual cone meaning no tweeter.

i think youll find that any reputable brand will have both 3 and 4 hole mounting points. but yes those speakers are good, the ts models are better (yellow kevlar cone) :D

because the fronts are dual cones is it possible to get just the tweeter for the car. Also im thinking of putting speakers in the dash (where the hi series ones go)

What are the measurements for these and do i need any special brakets for it. I really cant remember from the time i worked at my wrecker.

Yes you can add tweeters to thst front stage set-up.

You will also need a crossover with a crossover point of about 3,000hz.

What tweeters are you tihnking of running?
