Haha, I believe that you'll find it's bolted to the container that holds the battery, so it's actually right next to it.

Got the carpeting done yet?
Nice install.

ha ha, cheers ozbmx. and no, its not carpeted yet, but thats because i've decided i'm going to tinker with it a bit, i want to move some stuff. Unfortunately, i wont get a chance until the mid year break (july)

yeah frankieh, as ozbmx said, the black thing the fuse holder is bolted to is the battery box. The run is only about 10cm from the terminal to the fuse.

but yeah, show us what ya got!

Great install looks really good. I need all the boot space, so I hung 2 amps off the underside of the parcel shelf, out of the way, and the sub amp mounted off the boot pivot on the rhs.

I mounted mine on the back of the seats.. even cut the carpet out to match the amp sizes and used heat transferal paste to use the steel seat backs as big extra heat sinks to keep the amps cool.

going to pull it all out and do it neatly soon.

Brilliant stuff Nicco... Guess you don't need 6x9's in the front doors or something? Although, I reckon they're worth it - Mine sounds way better now (although am getting a vibration from BASE noise in the left hand mirror!!!)

http://www.fordmods.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=65757

Thanks for the advice regarding dash removal and install - am going over to pull out the remaining Fairmont Climate Control System now... Am making sure I have a free day or two next week to try and put it all in to the Futura...

In the meantime, it is brake re-installing, door painting, front shock installing... And wheel alignments... And and and and...

Done anything with that bare MDF yet?!!!!

fiend - cheers mate. not really a fan of 6x9s, i'm more than happy with the 6"s. Having said that, now they are amped they crank out more bass than i expected!!

and yeah, no worries about the dash thing, thats what the site is for. no, i havent done anything with the bare mdf yet (hrmm...) and yes i know about how long the "and then..." list gets :P

kwaussie and frankie: sorry i didnt respond to either of your posts. kwaussie: show us a pic. I know what you mean about keeping it all neat and tidy and useable. Thats something i thought about with mine. i actually managed to get more useable space with mine now cause the floor is actually flat

frankieh, got anywhere with yours yet?
