when i first got my car and had the system in it the rearview mirror was really strong and barely moved at all compared to my VS one, but slowly its getting weaker and weaker, ive tried putting superglue in all the joints and around where it connects to the window, that worked for a couple weeks and then peeled off, ive tried hotglue but that is useless when its been sitting in the sun coz it goes soft again... WTF can i do to stop my rearview from pointing down when my subs are on, all i can see is the ground...

Tighten the screw at the rear of the mirror?

custom mirror mount and arm...im serious too...why not
 will be lookin at this soon myself...mine keeps tearing out of the glass

maybe ..but im sure quick call to anyone with plastic/metal fabrication skills could easily knock something stronger up...or contribute to making the stock one a lil stronger then there shouldnt be any legality issues..

what about some sound deadener inbetween the joint? should stop the vibrations yes?

my xf one kept just falling off the window..the first time it happend i s**t myself! but yeh i used alot of s**t the last thing i tryed was (rear vison mirror fixxer) from super crap auto and it worked. but my ef isnt falling and it isnt vibrating down to the floor but i can hear it rattling ...its so loud!

there are no screws underneath it to tighten in the AU mirrors, just some weird little pin hole. this is s**t me, how much u looking at for this custom mirror mount and arm Kev?

dunno dude...thats why I said I hadnt had the time to do so but if someone wanted cant imagine it would cost much and would be handy ... and the pin hole...mate should be a small allen or torx piece ...should be allen key tho mate like the EF/EL ...real small one.

I have the same problem ... and bastard buzzes so much from vibration. That's what you get with two 12s in an AU ute behind the seats.
